and…that happened!
After using Twitter for bit, its been a challenge to follow conversation on there. But Quotably is here to the rescue. Basically they would allow users to view their conversations more visible and manageable instead of it being lost in the feed of your tweets, which often happens. With Quotably, here an example of a conversation I would like to track with Snoop Dogg on Twitter, and yes you read correctly:
snoopdogg: go comp my cd in the store…sexual seduction!
joesunga: @snoopdogg whyd u drop the doggy from the snoop doggy dog, son!
snoopdogg: @joesunga i aint no child
joesunga: @snoopdogg no ur not, ur snoop doggy dog!
snoopdogg @joesunga u better relax
I know thats fictional, but my gut tells me thats exactly how the conversation would go. Its got to be. Anyways, great website, and the creator did it for a weekend project. Makes you wonder why Twitter could create this themselves and integrate it into their features.
First post with comments (hooray to Haloscan!), and I talk about something other than blogging and thats Twitter (microblogging, close enough) . I’ve used it for a brief second last year, and just recently got back in the groove of things. I figured out exactly why it didn’t work for me last year, and its all about accessibility for using this web application. Before I didn’t really get what this thing was all about and no one was using it at the time (at least not people I know).
Now, second time around there are some cats I recognize now, its a lot easier to use on my end (aka I’ve found more ways to use it), and theres definitely some interesting stuff out there in twitterland. So here are some good little revalations I’ve made in the last couple weeks that got me back on Twitter.
- Since I’ve been texting a lot recently (sadly some tipsy texts here and there), just found out you can text a tweet. Try saying that five times fast.
- Found out about Twhirl, which is an AIR application that uses Twitter API. It’s a nice slick app that fits snug on the right of my Macbook Pro screen. You can post tweets, and check out what others are doing too. Check it out!
- Also, a neat feature is that you can tweet from chat applications. So catch me doing that on Gmail sooner than later.
Its so easy to microblog nowadays, you can tweet all day long. I’ve just added a feed from my Twitter on the right, but if thats not enough come check me out: http://www.twitter.com/joesunga
you know how many beats i did, fam!
