this is probably one of the most provacative advertisements out of the obama camp. with all their resources out there, they put together a nicely done video urging voters to register. funny, its somewhat of a fear commercial if you think about it. (YouTube)

I’ve recently been using this website, Animoto.com, and it changed my way how I show people events and photos. I still do the conventional photo uploads to both Facebook and my flickr, but Animoto gives my pictures a bit of a pulse.

5 Reasons why I use Animoto:

It’s really simple: add photos, add music, and Animoto does all the work!
Ability to get photos from Facebook and flickr
Preloaded music choices and ability to load your own music
Makes the photos move with the music — automatically!
Makes me look somewhat like a professional

That’s really what you want from a web application, right? An easy application that provides you with ability to makes your life a little easier while providing you with awesome results. It also helps that it’s free (for 30 second videos) and the $3 full-length videos aren’t that bad either.
