With the help of my buddy, Cheetos (who did all the sewing!), I was able to put together the Kung Fu Panda costume of my dreams. Check out what it consists of — and get a sneak peak of what it looks like too. Stay tuned for Part 3, the costume in action. Happy Halloween!

Are you glued to the CNN channel each day watching what’s going during this time in politics? If you do, you probably know about the huge map that John King plays with. Check out the megapixel giant touch map in action on Weekend Update with Fred Armisen. (via Hulu)

I went to a Barack Obama fundraiser yesterday called Baracktoberfest and had a great time. The day was filled with healthy conversations, great people, funny swag, thoughtful trivia, and most importantly — great beer. The bar even had a Barack Obama (pale ale) and a John McCain (IPA) beer tap — not being biased at all, I liked the pale ale. I forgot who made the beer, so if you know — comment below.
Big props goes out to Natala who helped set this whole thing up with her friends, and it’s always good to see some excitement in politics — especially in times like these. If you weren’t able to make it out yesterday for the festivities, feel free to show your support and help add to the $1,700 donated that day to the campaign.
If you weren’t able to check out the last Presidential debate tonight, then you missed a whole lot of John McCain and Barack Obama calling my name — Joe! It was probably more like, “Joe the Plumber,” but for a moment there I thought they were talking to me. Check this video out and see what all the fuss is going to be about in the coming days about this plumber dude.
