introducing the 5 minute cake in a cup! it literally only takes 5 minutes to go from holding an empty cup to holding a delicious dessert. at teachstreet, every friday we have somebody teach something new and today i was up. i made this when i was in college and when i lived in orlando. the end result above was pretty good. the lucky ones who witnessed it were: bowers, scott, phil, and harold — who all were pleasantly surprised. :)
there’s been some good blogs out there who’ve covered it, like instructables and lifehacker. basically all you really need is the follow. try it out and let me know how it turned out.
ingrediants (1-2 servings):

1 microwavable cup
4 tablespoons of flour (or bisquik if your crazy)
4 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa (or 2 swiss miss packets)
3 tablespoons of oil (or substitute with apple sauce)
3 tablespoons of milk
1 medium egg
optional: chocolate chips, candy bars, and vanilla extract

how to:

mix all the dry ingrediants together (flour, sugar, cocoa)
add in all the wet ingredient (oil, milk, egg, vanilla extract)
mix all that stuff up until there isn’t any dry pockets and its smooth
add in chocolate chips or pieces of a candy bar (snickers preferred)
microwave cup for 3 minutes on high
let it stand for 5 minutes and then enjoy!
