Conan O’Brien Bringing Traveling Road Show to Seattle (4/18-19)

Ignite Seattle 9 - Enlighten us, but make it quick

I’m pretty excited about Ignite Seattle 9 tonight at the King Cat Theatre. They’re charging $5 this time around, but I think that’s definitely worth the price of admission. I’ve been to several Ignites in the past and they’ve always been funny, informative, and a lot of fun.

If you haven’t gotten a chance to go — definitely go tonight. The lineup is stacked. Here are the 5-minute presentations I’m looking forward to:

BlogMeetBlog - More than just my chance to try Podogs

Last Friday, I went to a blogging event before a dinner that night just to try out this new restaurant on Capitol Hill. When I hear that Podogs was one of the sponsors at BlogMeetBlog, I made sure I went there to try them out, and boy did I try it out. Good stuff, but still need to make a visit to the real place soon.

Along with the dog sliders, free beer, Mike’s Hard Cider, and Trophy’s Cupcakes — I met a lot of great folks who blog and looking forward to running into a lot of them again.

Mark and Marla’s Epic Wedding by Luuvu Hoang

This was pretty awesome. Didn’t think Luuvu had it in him, but he definitely has the knack of telling a story. You have to connect with him if you’re having a big event for photos or video.

Mark and Marla’s wedding was one of three great weddings this year with some of the best people I know. I don’t know what the deal is, but I’m sure there’s going to be more next year.
